Harbor House, a division of Personal Family Counseling Services of Tuscarawas County, and Smith Concrete, a division of The Shelly Company, are debuting a themed ready mix truck that aims to spread awareness of domestic violence.
The ready mix themed truck will be unveiled at noon on Saturday, April 27, at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, Safe Kids/ Healthy Kids Festival. The truck will serve as a moving billboard in local parades, at fairs and at Harbor House fundraisers and will help to educate people about the important topic.
Harbor House serves as a safe shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children in both Tuscarawas and Carroll counties. “We are very excited about this unique way to spread awareness, so please show your support and join us on the 27th of April at the Dover YMCA for the unveiling,” said Leslie Love, LSW of Harbor House.
