(Maumee) – On, Saturday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., The Shelly Company’s Stoneco Maumee Quarry will be hosting an Open House providing visitors a unique opportunity to take a bus tour of the limestone operation and learn more about the process and importance of aggregates. “We invite community members to stop by and learn more about how the quarry operates and to get to know us better, “says Wade Jay, Quarry Superintendent. “Visitors will enjoy seeing the equipment, rock faces, open pit area and stockpiles as they relax in the guided bus tour.
